Tuan Nguyen

Coach Tuan Nguyen enters his 16th year of coaching volleyball and his 14th year at LBVBC.  During his coaching career, Coach Tuan has built an impressive reputation for his ability to coach, train, and guide his teams to success at the collegiate, club, and high school levels.

Coach Tuan's resume includes a decade spent coaching at the collegiate level at Biola University (2001-2007) and Concordia University (2008-2010).  While an Assistant with the Women's Volleyball Team, Coach Tuan helped the Lady Eagles reach the NAIA Final Four three times.  He then went on to serve as an Assistant Coach at Concordia University where he oversaw the team defense as the Concordia Eagles made it all the way to the NAIA Finals in 2008.  During his time at Biola and Concordia both programs succeeded in placing at the top of their conference year in and year out, producing a total of ten All-Americans along the way. 

Since joining the Laguna Family Coach Tuan has coached the 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 & under age groups, enjoying the challenges that each age division presents.  As a 17's and 18's coach, he has consistently helped his players to achieve their goals of playing at the collegiate level.  Currently, he also serves as the Head Junior Varsity Coach at Santa Margarita High School (2012-Present).
